Ok, I have a AMD Duron 700 on a MSI K7T Pro motherboard. I wish to overclock it, but this motherboard is one that does not have any BIOS clock multiplier adjustments. So, my only option is to physically modify the chip. I am willing, and wanting, to do this, as I have a good idea how, but I would like to hear from any other person who has attempted Duron/TBird overclocking by modifying all the multiplier and voltage bridges (not just the few L1 bridges). So, has anyone attempted this and if so, what have your results been? Thanks.

I just bought the same set up, so any response to the original post would be of enormous help to me to. I have found info on http://www.anandtech.com where you should follow the links from guides->search CPU. You'll find a half dozen articles regarding the operation and related issues. However, I'd still like to have someone spell it out for me in easy terms!! :):)

The only hard part is etching away the interconnects that are already there so you can change the muliplier and then so can automatic pencil to connect them. Make sure the lead is conductive. Thus I need some advice as how to etch away the interconnects.
