[SOLVED] Oculus rift S hdmi adaptor

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me because I need an adaptor fro my oculus rift S because my laptop that has a RTX 2060 in it does not have a displayport/ mini DP. Could anyone recommend an adaptop that has displayport input and HDMI output. I am in the UK. The resolution needs to be 5K+ and 80hz+.

From what I can tell, the Oculus Rift S will not work from an HDMI port regardless of any adapter you might use. Put simply, your laptop is not Oculus Rift S compatible.

Displayport to hdmi will not work. You can try displayport to usb c if you have one, BUT it must be connected to your gpu directly - I don't know if theres any way of verifying this without trying it yourself.
