Recently I noticed an issue with my browser. At a certain point during my session, Chrome starts freezing intermittently every 3-5 seconds. Looking at taskmgr, I noticed that the CPU usage for Chrome drops to a near-zero when the freezing occurs. Otherwise, Chrome would stay at a healthy 10% CPU usage max without any issues.
For some reason, when I'm focused on a different window that isn't Chrome, the browser never freezes. The issue started about two days ago, and even after reinstalling Chrome, running antivirus scans, etc. it doesn't seem to have stopped. Could this be a setting going fritz or something?
