Odd display question

I'm running a Core 2 Duo 6600, no OC, 2gb of Corsair 800 ram, MSI P6N platinum mobo, PNY 8800GTS w 640, Antec 550 PSU and a Dell 19" LCD 1905FP. System was built 3 weeks ago and has been fine. Just the past few days, and not always, little colored squiggly line, in clusters of 3 or 4 lines are populating the screeen, fading away and then coming back. Any ideas if what might be causing this?

Are you using the DVI or VGA input?

check your video card temps...could be some artifacting, which could at least explain the intermittent nature of your problem. Also, as always, make sure you have the latest drivers installed in your system...

Thanks- I've used Riva tuner and taken the gpu card fan off of auto and increased the speed, decreasing the card temp about 4C. Seems to have helped. Downloaded the driver and will install it tonight.
