Odd Graphics Lag (Looking for Help)

Hello,

I am having really unstable lag in-game. I know its not spec related, because I'm running League of Legends on "Very Low" settings, and it always used to work on "Very High" settings before. My system has two ATI Radeon HD 5700's in Crossfire mode. It used to even run Titanfall great.

Although, anytime I start a game lately, it has an almost exactly consistent lag pattern. It runs at the frame rate cap for about 4 seconds, then stalls the whole screen for 1 second (FPS decreases to like 5), and repeats.

Any ideas or suggestions? Because it's not drivers related as far as I can tell.

Overheating, failing hard drive, bad powersupply, bad video card. Did you try a clean Windows setup? Test cards one at a time? Check temps?

The temperature seems to be stable. It runs about 59* celcius at most times. The hard drive is a relatively new SSD. I feel like it isn't the power supply. I have a fresh Windows Installation on it, but still the problem persisted.

I'll check test the graphics cards individually.
