Question Odd Smell Possibly Coming From Computer

There is this weird smell possibly coming from my computer, it doesn't smell like something is burning. This is going to sound quite odd but it smells like bakery goods in an oven and I am not sure if its my computer or someone cooking in the apartment next to me. My cpu is 50c underload and my gpu 65c so its not overheating, so I am not sure where is this odd smell coming from because I am facing my monitor and I can smell it?

At an appropriate time, e.g., when you do not need to use your computer, turn everything off and unplug.

Open windows, start a fan, and otherwise air out the room. Close up again. Leave the computer off.

Then start waiting, watching, and sniffing. If the smell is still there or returns - it could be the neighbors doing some baking. Odors can travel fast and especially so in an older building. Check outlets, around windows, doors, cracks, ventilation ducts, etc.,

If no smell, then restart the computer and immediately start checking the various cooling and ventilation slots and holes for the smell. A cardboard tube may help you get "closer".

Electronics that decide to die, never smell like a bakery.
You would know the acid smell of electronics going bad.

That smell is gone, so I think it was coming from the other apartment.
