OEM Vs Retail

Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with ordering hardware (specifically video cards) OEM instead of in the retail box?

No problems here. I usually always get OEM. Same product for less, but does not have all the fancy packaging. Goes in the garbage any way.

Things like cpu's come with heatsink and fan in retail but min most cases I don't think the price is justified.

Warranty may be different as well, check when your buying.

Take Care.
If money was no object, how could you spend it!

Some OEM video cards use lower quality memory, (ie. 6ns instead of 5.5ns), and/or lower clocked GPU (ie. 166Mhz instead of 183Mhz). Just make sure the one you get doesn't have different specs for OEM and retail.
