Well, it is still early and they are already down below 14 again. Down 40 cents so far. There go most of the gains yesterday. I am curious to see how the rest of the day will go.

AMD hasn't been at $15 or above since the first week of March. What you're seeing now in the spike is the Street positioning itself for a private buyout.

AMD does good in the legacy Tinker/Amber core, but on the more common Gromacs (and derivatives), Intel is ahead perf/GHz.

Notice Tinker is just 4.7%, Amber is no where, and Gromacs takes the rest.

A near record loss another year of losses and the stock goes up the rose glasses are the only rational explanation?

You may yet get your chance today at a 13 buy in if you want to.
