sometimes the devs exaggerate the specs.....when the game releases, many find that they can play really well with their settings...
y would they recommend 3GB DDR5??
is it badly optimised or wat so that it will not run well with lower end cards?

i think it is possible the were told/paid to exadurate the system gpu requirements because they know a lot and i mean a lot of people will buy nothing less than the recommended requirements when upgrading their systems. there is a lot of money to be made by manufacturers exaggerating a few numbers by a little

The reason they recommend 3GB isn't because they're secretly working with Nvidia to sell 4GB cards haha. Battlefield 3 maxed out on my 7970 @ 1080p uses around 1700MB of VRAM. Since BF4 is on a new engine and undoubtedly has better textures, I'm sure the memory requirements are higher than those of BF3. They don't make a card with 2.5GB of VRAM so they recommend 3GB because the game will certainly require more than 2GB when settings are turned all the way up.

People forgetting BF4 will be optimized as drivers start to come out for the game as well just as the same as BF3 trust me they wont leave us hanging and they want the best experience for us as possible

talking about me....i have FX 8350 and HD7750 1GBDDR5 along with 4GB ram DDR3(will upgrade)

They will be able to run it just fine. People will run BF3 with a 5760x1080 setup on a 2gb card and not have a vram bottleneck. Any of those cards should be easily able to run BF4 at a 1920x1080 setup.

I hit 1650-1700MB VRAM usage in BF3 on Ultra @1080p. I think it will be over 2048MB in BF4 but all that really means is an AA drop for the 2GB cards. Of course this is just my guess, but in the Bioshock Infinite benchmark I hit 1970MB of VRAM usage. It's going to be close.

ya i think you are going to max it at 1080P about the fps depending on the optimization but keep aa off you won't need it

You guys think this will be good enough on the High graphics pre-set?

HIS Radeon 7850 2GB
G.Skill 4GB Ram (will upgrade to 8GB soon)
AMD Trinity 3.6GHz
Resolution 1280x720
