Funny, the recommended cards are GTX 660 and HD 7870 but recommended VRAM is 3GB haha.

give me your resolution any way if it optimized well yo can max it at 1080p with out aa at +55 fps and it may reach 65 if the resolution was lower than this like 1600x900 1360x768 sure the fps will be higher to get a solid 60 fps it is hard because this game is so demanding and in the multiplay 64 player so if you want higher fps low your 1080p if you have it to lower resolution if it was low already then you have good computer

Tomb Raider Benchmarks with AA and TressFX off in both cases

1.Post processing OFF,Tesellation OFF,High precision OFF
MIN-50.5
MAX-60.3
AVG-58.7

2.Everything in ultra
MIN-17.5
MAX-43.4
AVG-35.1

here you go UM Mido....now ur opinion bro

i predict that but still not sure about it
turn AA off at high settings (watch dogs)
Min : 14
AVG : 33
Maximam : 41

this in watch dogs but it will change maybe to higher or lower depending on the official requirements

about battlefield 4 it is going to be lower a bit than your fps in battlefield 3 now but try high setting instead of ultra to max it you need a better GPU like i told you before like 7850/7870 or higher

actually...i cant afford a gpu now..
wateva money i had i tried to make a balanced build...tbh i upgraded from a very low end cpu
i had DUAL CORE and HD6450
i upgraded to FX 8350 and HD7750...later when i have money il do it for sure:)

I hope I can play BF4 on Medium-High @1080p or 720p

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB GDDR5
CPU: Intel i5 3470 'Ivy-Bridge'
RAM: 8 GB DDR3

Oh and by the way, try to stay as far as possible from Haswell Intel prcessors, they are infamous for getting really hot, really fast.

Guys I did some testing on BF3 with 1920x1080 everything maxed out including full motion blur ammount and VRAM usage was only 1.1GB according to MSI AB. Find it VERY hard to believe that BF4 would use almost 3 times the VRAM of BF3 just because of new FrostBite 3 Engine...

yo my 3470 its running 4.0ghz... try overclock your cpu. and get a small cooler. cheap one 30 usd

I upgrade to the 7950 just in case, by the way I totally recommend all of you upgrade to that card(Unless you have a better one). Its almost future-gaming proof c:

Or you can CrossFire/SLI
And alot of people ask what that is:
-CrossFire: Using 2 or more AMD GPUs to improve FPS/Performance
-SLI: Using 2 NVidia GPUs to improve FPS/Performance

Haswell is just not a very good manufacturer overall. I read lots of reviews saying these cards get really hot and that their customer service isn't the best either. By the way I use the i5 3570. I try to buy Intel-Manufactured Processors and not ones processed through other companies.

if people upgrade on a monthly basis just coz of games then there's no point in having a PC...atlst use the gfx card even if you cannot play at ultra...use it for sometime, then discard
people just focus on the GPU...i agree with Scoutdrago3...processor plays an imp role in games
moreover Batllefield 3 and 4 are CPU dependant...people having 4core cpus are getting bottlenecked in BF4 beta...
there's no such thing as future-proof in this field....for eg:i was planning to buy a gfx card but R9 series came in...so...i guess i made my point

People really can't wrap their head around this still? It's not saying that it needs a 7870 with 3GB of VRAM, it's saying that it needs a card with around 2tflops of power, which is about a 7870 and about 3 GB of VRAM. The requirements aren't actually asking for exactly those specs, it's merely using those specs as they're the closest representation of the games graphics performance requirements.

The 'Recommended' BF4 requirements should be taken with a grain of salt. They are intended for those people running at resolutions higher than 1080p. That's why 3gb vram is suggested. The AMD 7870 seems rather steep a recommendation but that could be for multi-monitor support/higher res. etc.

A rep. from EA did confirm that you don't need 3gb vram if you game at 1080p.

Hey guys, I have:
Intel i7 950 Bloomfield quad core @ 3.06ghz.
Gtx660 3gb
6gb ddr3 RAM

What do you think I'll be able to play at? I will also have the game installed on an SSD if that makes any difference.

Dude - your specs are the recommended system requirements -- of course you'll be able to play it fine @ high settings! Why do you even need to ask? D:

Your right, those "System Requirements" are usually just a ton of BS. They higher the system requirements just in case that the smaller ones won't have enough power. They do this will all of the games. No one will know the exact specs till the game actually comes out.
