Ubuntu love =)
I can't wait to play this game on Ubuntu using my new hardware, I'll buy it just because its made for Linux. Come on game devs.

I'm thinking the same thing. Support the devs that support you. For the rest, they can wait for their money until they start selling the game for $5 on Steam.

Ooo, is there a mini-game where you get to plug an oil-spewing hole? I think the timing of the game is in poor taste, but then again, it must have been in development for some time. Still, I think maybe they should have waited until the media died down some before throwing it out there, Q4 seems a little too soon.

[citation][nom]crisisavatar[/nom]The oil incident was indeed an accident no1 could predict.[/citation]
Of course they could have done so... maybe not in the strict sense of the term "predict", but they could've absolutely prevented it. BP made a cost-savings choice by not making the installation/construction robust enough years a go(dun ask me the technical details), and afaik, they were even warned about cracks showing up in the well. So much for cost savings.

Sounds like a fun game, I wonder how much it will cost. 10-20$ I would assume, which is a lot for a tower defense, but if it is as cool as that trailer then it looks like a good buy.

Yes, give more ideas to future terrorist kids in Afghanistan and Pakistan!
They'd be better off spending time studying for a good job! (Evil truth)

I love the Unigine engine, and from the benchmarks of Heaven I would love to be able to get a license and develop with it on my machine (if it could run Heaven at acceptable framerates). However, I'm uncertain how good this game will be. A lot of companies can make great technology, but their games end up being little more than expanded tech demos. As far as I know this is their first attempt at developing a complete game. The video is cool, and the engine is amazing, but I will have to wait for a demo before I get really excited about this.

I'll buy it for that reason as well. If more games supported native linux, I wouldn't have to buy copies of windoze for my PC.

I really hope that it will be in the Ubuntu Software Center. I want all decent Linux games to find their way there by Ubuntu 12.04. If the price of this game isn't too high (30 USD is probably my upper limit), if it runs well enough on my hardware, and if I think it's fun then I'll almost definitely buy it. Unlike some of the commenters here, I only buy games that I think are worth my money. That said, I did buy 11 Linux games this year.

i'm disapointed of tom hardware to let people that know nothing about computer make articles, here a litle correction

PC = Personal Computer

where is the misstake here? pc does NOT mean windows, if you would associate PC to some operating system, it would actualy be associate to EVERY operating system that can run on a PC, witch would be linux, BSD, Solaris, windows, and anything else that would run on a PC, so, saying "PC and Linux" is pretty dumb
