It's not a reciever/amp just an amp @95w per channel and looks similar to this one http://www.vintagetechnics.com/controlpower/sea909suc909.htm, I know the one you mean though 8) , As for ebay I can't stop my paranioa chip from kicking in with that kind of site :lol: :lol:

lol, I would agree completely but the ebay refurbs aren't like people swapping used stuff, it's a company that just uses ebay as a front ya know. My friend bought two they both worked out fine, you can even return them if you want. But yeah a technics amp is prolly fine, I dunno why I htought it was a reciever. I hope you enjoy those Beauts.

Just use some good head phones and ditch the speakers.

I do have nice headphone, but my friends can't enjoy them, I can't wander around the house with em. Plus speakers do spatial reproduction much better. But the value of a good pair of headphones is underrated for sure.
