These are just a few ive seen and no im not a nvidia only guy these just came up first in my search as far as price goes this board is neither sli nor crossfire compatible but my new one will be so i would prefer to get a card that is capable of one or the other ... Yes this will be a gaming machine ... when it is built so i wanna be able to play fairly high end games on it but in no more than 1080p i run a 52" and a 37" 1080p lcd tvs off this as it is also a media server for my house and the new one will be i hope ive included enough info ... i am gonna go look at benchmark and see if i can get more info but any help would be greatly appreciated

Solution
The GTS 450 is a good card. and SLI would be quite nice for performance. Also if you find my advice helpful you can click the "pick as solution" button so others if contemplating a low budget upgrade can find use of this thread as well.

You lack intuitive imagination!!😛

PCI-e Risers are cheap and can be used for pci-e x1 slots.

yes I am aware you cant run sli on this compute I was discussing using sli on my next computer build that I am in the midst of getting components for since I was going to use a sli board in it I have one in mind not bought yet but pretty sure I will get that I wanted to pick up a video card that was capable of it that way I could just grab a second one when I finish the new build that way I wouldn't have to just toss out this card and buy two new ones or one expensive one and have a card laying around with no use .... planning ahead seemed like the best course of action since I am getting pieces for my new build anyways
