[SOLVED] Old drives empty after new M.2 installed

Hey, I have a friend who just recently put a new M.2 drive into his pc. Prior to the M.2 he had an HDD as his boot drive and a sata ssd as storage. After installing the M.2 his sata ssd is appearing as empty and is no longer configurable despite being detected. The boot hdd and the system as a whole is otherwise fine. Does anyone know how to resolve this or what caused this?

Wel known issue, some motherboards share the M.2 slot with a sata channel.

Solution - use another sata port.
