Question Old laptops and MacBooks.

So I have a couple old laptops 2010 and older a iMac 2004ish 2 MacBook older ones as well.
My dad was what I would call a hoarder. Any uses for these? Thanks in advance.

Install Linux on them, and put on craigslist or similar for free.

Crypto mining? No. They would consume more electricity than you'd 'earn'.

I have a helium miner, basically a rasb pi 4 model b, thought maybe the parts could upgrade my existing setup and was thinking of building a server (node) I guess a vps would do the same, or a trading bot. This being said i have very little experience. I upgraded my Lenovo pc 2007 for recording music ram and ssd. I just feel bad getting rid of dads stuff.
