well, i always hear ppl swearing by the improvment they notice when they use dedicated sound cards over on-board audio!
but hmmm . . . we are at 2011 now and some swear that sound cards era are gone as current on-board audio has managed to be of a high quality almost comparable to dedicated sound cards!
which one of those two statments are true?
im thinking of buying this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102019
is it worth it? will i notice an improvment on gaming or music quality?
i currently have Asus Maximus IV P67 mobo which has a RealTek ALC889 on-board audio
and btw i have an excellent set of high end 2.1 speakers: Edifier S530
what do you think guyz?
