Hello, I am learning to be a better typist in multiple layouts. I thought this type of software would be abundant but I've hit a brick wall

I would like to find an OSK thats similar to keybr.com

There is something called Hot Virtual Keyboard, but it is a paid service, I don't know if there is a lite free version.

The Windows OSK actually has this behaviour programmed in, but for some reason the only keystrokes that are displayed in their OSK are Shift, Win, Alt and Ctrl. There is no option for it to display every key, which I'm sure if it was open source, would probably take a couple of minutes to reprogram.

I am using 3 different layouts so the OSK with keystroke display would really speedify my learnings

Found this,

Unsure if it shows actual key presses (it should).

For other options, OBS Studio also has input device overlay, but this is mainly used when recording/streaming, to show viewers what kind of keys you're pressing. But it can be used for your needs as well. Takes quite a bit to set it up though.

Another option that i know of, is when you have Corsair KB that supports iCUE. Within iCUE, i can select specific "key lighting" effect, that will light up all and any keys i press, while displaying it on the screen, in the iCUE preview mode. Just tested it and it works even when iCUE isn't active window. Can even select the duration of how long the key remains light up, after key press.
