[SOLVED] onboard sound or sound card?

Solution
For the average/typical user, on-board audio is more than sufficient. If you're some type of audiophile, then you'll probably want to consider a sound card. The only reason I bought one in the last ten years was for my Home Theater PC which was used for movies and connected to my Onkyo 5.1 Receiver.
