Having read the previous Logitech stories, I fully expected to be dissapointed with their customer service as I was expecting only the best.

Logitech optical mouse, worked great for three months, one day, nothing, no bonehead moves on my part, no underhanded shenanigans, the mouse simply went bad.

I called Logitech this morning and after about 10 minutes of hold time, the bad thoughts started flowing, luckily about 30 seconds later someone picked up the line.

A couple of questions later, the guy advised me that he was sending the replacement mouse via UPS ground and that I would have it within 7 to 10 days, and get this, he said do not worry about returning the old mouse, shoot, never even requested a reciept or anything beyond part and model number.

Now that's customer service!

AMD are you listening?

Just an update.

A few days later and on a monday no less, my new mouse arrived.

I wish I could say this did not impress me but being in the industry for many years with several companies, I realize how rare this type of customer service really is.

For god's sake, AMD could not even fulfill their promise to send me one measly Athlon case sticker, it has been over one year and many phone calls with repeated assurances that "we will be fulfilling your order ASAP".

Why I oughta!!!!

Well, I once I dealt with Logitech's tech support too, but I was not really impressed by the service. You know the WebWheel? When I click on a shortcut, it loads on the other window of the web browser, which is inactive. They told me to call tech support on phone instead, so I just forget it. It's no big deal, but I thought all tech supports should know issues like this.

But I have to say I must praise their quality. 3 years of excessive use, frustrating bang and crash on it and still it remains sturdy and accurate. My next replacement will be Logitech definitely, but I just wonder when that would be necessary!
