I need a little help.
I'm having an issue with one of my fan, after I swapped out my fans (3 case fan and 1 fan on hyper 212) and changed the ram, It lights up but it seem like there's not enough power to get one of the fan spinning. It was connected to one of the 3 pin fan header on the motherboard. All the other fans works except one. It's currently connected to my PSU, and it work just fine. Is my motherboard failing? Both fan and motherboard are brand new and less than a week old.

-FX 8350
-MSI 990FXA Gaming motherboard
-Avexir Ram
-Thermaltake Riing fans
-EVGA G2 850 PSU

Try plugging a working fan into the 3 pin header you have a problem with to see what happens. It's possible you have a bad header, yep even on a new board. This should narrow down your search for the cause. Also possible your fan has a bad connector even though it runs on the PSU as website shows it can run at 10,000 and 15,000 RPM

Sometimes it can be difficult to get those small plugs onto the pins tightly. And that can be part of the challenge and fun of doing your own build. Just asking a question can help a person reevaluate a problem to get a fix on it, weather the answer helps or not. Happy computing !
