I setup my new pc for the first time and only 1 out of 3 case fans are working.

The rear fan works but the top and front fan don't.
I checked the bios and they aren't recognised, but they should be connected through splitters.
Whenever I plug in the 4 pin connector into my motherboard my system flickers but wont turn on.

Any ideas?

Case: Aerocool GT-s Black edition
Motherboard: GA-AB350-Gaming (rev. 1.x)
PSU: Corsair CX600M

Solution
he probably conneted it with psu and with mobo at same time...so mobo/psu short protection kicks in (flicker)

technically he could connect both, but on mobo connector should be connected only yellow pin, so that fan controller will do its fan control job and mobo will report fan speeds
If you want to control those fan speeds through the splitter, the fans should be the same power (i.e. 2 0.15A fans or 2 0.12A fans, but NOT 1 0.05A fan and 1 0.12A fan).

Also not sure what you mean when you plug it in, the system "flickers"? Are you trying to plug them in while it's running?

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.

I was plugging the fans into the Motherboard and Psu at the same time.

I have since tried only plugging the fans into the PSU and all the fans power up buy only the rear fan spins.
