Question Only One Mouse Works When Two Are Connected

I have two mice connected to my windows laptop, a logitech mx master and a razer viper v2 pro. I have drivers set up and running well for both, and they were able to be use simultaneously on the same laptop before (with only one cursor, as you would expect.) But starting from yesterday only one will work and the computer won't respond to the other one. My observation is that if I turn on my laptop, then start using one, the other one will get disabled after a time (that's my guess.) And even though the cursor no longer responds to my logitech mouse when I use my viper, the side buttons seems to be working well.

yes i know just using one mouse would probably completely solve the problem but I use different mice for work and gaming. My system is Windows 11 Pro 23H2, cpu is AMD Ryzen 9, gpu is RTX 3070

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Try and uninstall both external mice, disconnect from the laptop, then reboot the laptop with none of your external mice. Add the Razer mouse first, get Synapse installed(if the installer is standalone, then install it in an elevated command), make sure it's recognized as it should be. Following that, reboot the laptop, then hook up the Logitech mouse, install Logi Options + then see if the Logitech mouse works alongside the Razer mouse.

Out of curiosity, you forgot to mention the make, model and SKU of your laptop. Might be a good idea to manually reinstall your chipset driver in an elevated command as well.
