Device is an MSI GE62 2QF laptop with a sound card that uses Realtek drivers and provides a (useless) Nahmic UI. The issue is that when I'm using the sound card, certain audio does not play at all. So far I have been able to capture two examples:
1. The 'ding' sound when you adjust volume.
2. MusicBee portable.
3. Log in/log out sounds.
If I route the audio to the external monitor (via HDMI), it works flawlessly. If I use an amplifier, it works flawlessly. But if I use the default sound card, audio output is somehow messed up.
I have tried using Windows troubleshooter, which reports that "Enhancements were not loaded" and to restart, every time. Sometimes, in between the dialogue box and the restart, the sound issue seems fixed, but at that point there are no Realtek audio devices in control panel.
I tried deleting the driver, reinstalling the driver (from MSI's website), and now am using Windows' default driver.
EDIT: Attached Device Manager screenshot. There seems to be a "Device not migrated" error.
What should I do?
