Open a PC folder and have it automatically sorted by Date ..

I would like to find a way to open a WindowsXP folder and have it
automatically sorted by Date Modified. I do NOT wish to have all my
folders sorted that way ... just this one folder.

Is there an app or special way to have WindowsXP Home edition remember the
sort for an individual folder?

Open the folder...click view..arrange icons by...pick modified..and auto
arrange.

Just make sure you have set your computer to remember each folders view
settings. Open windows explorer, go to Tools-Folder options, click the view
tab and scroll down to find the box named "Remember each folders view
settings" and make sure it is ticked. Now whenever you change the view for
any folder it is remembered.

There is a limit on how many folders can have a customised view - if you hit
the limit use Tweak UI to increase it (instructions are often posted here).
