Operating temp for a Nvidia 9500gt

Im having problems with my video card?? I think. Im playing LOTRO online and my screen locks up several times and if I change speed I guess of the card it works for a while then locks up again. Sometimes it so bad that I have to reboot the computer. Any suggestions??

Does the game have a version or mode that's not online? I'm curious if your internet connection lag might cause the freezing. When you say change the speed, do you mean the fan speed?
