Opinion on this rig, please ?

I'm trying to buy a rig as per below. Could anyone help me to choose the GPU and also comment on the rest ? My budget is around USD 1100.

Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA EP45-UD3P, 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16, 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x8, , Intel P45 ICH10R, Memory 4 x 1.8V DDR2 6 GB
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo - E8400 (3.0GHz)
Memory - 4Gb - 1066 KINGMAX (2 x 2Gb)
Hard Drive - 320GB Seagate, 7200 RPM, SATA
Optical Drive - ASUS SATA II, 18X
Casing - Cooler Master KC 690
PSU - Cooler Master 650W
Monitor - VIEWSONIC LCD 19” VA1918WM - 1440 X 900
Graphics Card - ATI 4850 512 MB or ATI 4850 1 GB or ATI 4870 512 MB or ATI 4870 1 GB ?

In my opinion i would go with a quad core as more games are taking advantage of multi-core cpu's. Here is a great combo i found.

I wouldnt recommend a monitor only 19" at 1440x900. Check this one out and its fairly cheap.

For the graphic card i would recommend a 4870 since there prices have dropped nicely.

Newegg has deals every week for a 22" monitor for around $150. Play on a 22inch and then play on a 19 inch and you will want to spend the extra for a larger screen.

Thats true.. better the screen size and resolution, you won't regret the decision..
