This is my first time building a computer. After a few days of looking around i came up with this build.

If i could get some opinions and suggestions that would be great. it is going to be a budget build of about $550 or so, mostly for browsing and a bit of gaming. Nothing major like Far Cry or Battlefield.

No need to worry about a case i'll be using my old one.

pretty entry level............... rule number one................... it's 2014................. DO NOT buy a dual core processor for gaming. you're setting yourself up for a loss right away.

when you buy ram, buy it in pairs. run it in pairs.

your power supply is too expensive and over powered for what you are trying to build. you could take 30 dollars of that and put it towards a better cpu.

do you have some kind of budget? ( real budget, no fantasy land stuff please )

I put a SSD so boot times is faster, OS is more snappy and loading times is quicker.
A gtx 750 is much better.
550W is overkill but it was cheaper than the 450W version. XFX are good brands.

Totally agree! Though I have some specific recommendations to make, here is the build:

if you can't afford this then go with the GPU you chose before but I would't change anything else...

My budget budget is $550, but if I have to spend an extra $20 then its okay too.
What would you recommend for a cpu then?

A r9 270 is much better than a GTX 750Ti. However, i did not include a SSD with this build.
