If u dont want to upgrade ur monitor than u dont need to spend more than $300 on graphics card. sapphire 7970 or R280x will max out any game easily, infact GTX760 can also max at 1600x900

Alright, how much are you willing to spend on just the graphics card? $768 is way more than enough for a GT 640 or HD 7770.
