Optiplex 390 CPU Cooler?

Is there any cpu coolers that i can put in my optiplex 390 mt? Its running a i5 2400 with stock cooler but i would like the cpu to run a bit cooler with a after market cooler but im not sure which would be best and if it would be compatible with it. Its lga 1155 socket. Thanks in advanced.

A great cooler for a good price is the Cryorig H5. Gives around 5-10c better temps than the Hyper 212 Evo and is reasonably priced.

The Hyper 212 EVO, along with the Cryorig H7 are the best choices. I don't know how big coolers the case will fit, but the H7 is not too tall and fits in most mid-tower and micro-tower cases.

The Hyper 212 Evo is overrated, its a decent cooler and better than the stock cooler, but it came out 5 years ago, and there are plenty of better coolers on the market for better prices nowadays. H7 is worth it if you have the money, but a bit overpriced compared to others.

The 212 EVO is definitely not overrated. A cooler that gives great performance and low sound levels for $29.99.
There's a reason why it has 5/5 eggs and almost 4000 reviews on Newegg.

In the current market it is quite exaggerated, many people act like it is the one and only cooler of choice for a PC when the temps are around 80c at load. It is good if you are on a very tight budget, but with a bit more leighway a cryprig cooler is definitely worth the extra investment.

Agreed, although in my opinion its worth the extra 10 bucks incase OP gets an unlocked CPU in the future
