So I just built my first pc last night. Yay! Not really thought because it won’t connect to my moniter. I’ve tried HDMI and VGA. Nothing. The moniter doesn’t even recognize there’s something plugged in at all.
There is an orange light in the bottom corner next to the graphics card, and on both clips for the graphics cards. Took the graphics card out and still got the lights. Plugged my moniter into my mother board and still nothing.
Everything else runs, the power supply, the cooling fan over the cpu and the tower fan. I don’t get any noises or anything except this stupid orange light. Which comes on even when not turned on I.e when it’s plugged in but not on. Can’t find ANY info on what this lights means.

Thanks!

It could also be the motherboard. A b350 board needs a bios update to support a ryzen 5 2600. The motherboard may or may not come with a newer bios that supports the 2600, so this is a likely cause. If the mobo doesnt have a supported bios, your options are limited.

That’s what it seems to be coming to.. the bios isn’t support. not really sure how to fix that if that’s the problem tho.
