Which OS do you recommend for playing the latest games on high graphics ?

I'd choose Windows, as it has most titles developed on it as opposed to Linux or OSX

Why Pro? Home Premium would be sufficient, can't see what benefit any of the extra features would bring to games.

does premium have compatability mode? if so then get that... if not then pro is the 1 to get to get the most games to work, old and new.
