OS installing

i recently built a new computer and can't seem to install an OS (Win XP, or any other version). can somebody help

It would help 'somewhat' if you stated your system specs.

And exactly what do you mean you can´t install any operating system?
Do you have a harddrive and a cdrom? :tongue:
