Americans are the biggest fools in the the history of mankind. USAMA is nothing but an illusion. first it was the russians before them the germans, The few who control the american government are the owners of the biggest wepons industry of the world. they need an enemy in order to keep their industry running.
and amrican people have such thick skulls that this thing cannot get accross to this brains. what a shame.

Wars actually cost the countries involved ... they don't make money out of it.

Private firms who make weapons cenrtainly do make a lot of money.

Whilst I respect the followers of any religion, be it christian, Muslim or other, I can't respect any religious fanatice who calls on others to conduct war in God's name.

I also condemn anyone who would commit such cowardly acts as hyjacking planes and flying them into buildings, or conducting suicide bombings against civilian targets.

Terrorists are simply not people ... they are animals.

Im having a problem with this though.......Why would they give him a burial at sea so soon after he was shot? Im having trouble finding ANY information as to an Islamic burial at sea. You guys break out your Armadillo / Leprosy Hats and wait for the conspiracy storm......
 
If a person dies on a ship and if there is no fear of the decay of the dead body and if there is no problem in retaining it for sometime on the ship, it should be kept on it and buried in the ground after reaching the land. Otherwise, after giving Ghusl, Hunut, Kafan and Namaz-e-Mayyit it should be lowered into the sea in a vessel of clay or with a weight tied to its feet. And as far as possible it should not be lowered at a point where it is eaten up immediately by the sea predators.

I would have preferred him in a ditch with 5 gallons of diesel poured over his body. A sea burial off a navy ship is an honorable method of military burial, unless they just chucked his dead carcus from the chopper with a couple of cinder blocks and a pigs head in the bag.
 
^ From what I've read, yes they dumped his body into the sea from the chopper, weighted down so as to sink to the bottom. I'm pretty sure they just kicked his corpse out, no ceremony or anything, as these were the Navy SEALS who killed him.

Problem for burial at sea for Muslims is that they are supposed to be buried facing Mecca, which of course is not possible in the ocean.

Anyway, good riddance, and it's nice to see Americans rejoicing - let's hope all those Middle Easterners who were dancing in the streets following 9/11 are not too happy today..

i worry that his body was hastily disposed of....... I mean this guy was most wanted worldwide. And what we get is reports of "We found him, We killed him and then promptly disposed of his body according to his religion"...... Fock that. Not to sound too crazy but..... All we really have is the governments word on this. Can you imagine what people would say if I posted that I had found and killed Bigfoot and after making absolutely sure it was in fact Bigfoot I promptly burned the body, without taking anypictures or getting a second opinion. You think anyone would believe me?

How come no one thought to just google map Osama's Compound?

I google earthed it this A.M. Did you see all the hospitals and clinics in the area? I heard he had a kidney pbm for a long time. Oh and 3 blocks from a police station? This town also houses the military acadamy and 3 regts. of troops. It looks sweet for skiing in the winter with the snow on the mountains.
 
^ Yep, it's pretty obvious that Bin Laden had the knowledge if not the blessing of the Pak gov't (or at least military) for the last 6 years, seeing as how his house was built in 2005, 8 times the size of comparable houses in the neighborhood which I understand is filled with Pak military retirees, and only several hundred yards from their pre-eminent army military academy..

I love how they Keep Uday and Qusay (Hussein) on ice for 11 days, embalm them and THEN burry them. After the media took tons of pics. I mean shite you can see Saddam get beheaded on the internet. Why couldnt they hang on to his body for hmmm...... i dont know anything longer than an hour or two?

Yes, there is no doubt in my mind that the Pakistani's were harboring him. Of course, the government and the Pakistani government will be buddy-buddy for awhile over it, but eventually we'll hear about it.

The word is that there is a "martyr tape" that may soon be released featuring Osama's last words, etc... Typically, these tapes are attributed to suicide bombers and the like, but obviously, Osama knew that his day would come eventually. I'm not sure if we'll hear it or not on the news networks. Personally, I don't want to hear from the guy ever again. Not to mention, it'll lead to a fervor of sorts from his followers, which we do not need. He's at the bottom of the sea and that's where he needs to stay.
 
I understand about wanting to portray an image of civility and respect about the whole matter (as hypocritical as it still is), but I still would like to have seen him buried with a mouth full of BBQ pork.
And, as long as those 72 virgins had to wait for him, I'll bet those guys were particularly eager.
