So, lets begin, my problem started about 2 weeks ago. My little brother told me he couldnt watch video's on YouTube anymore. His vids werent buffering. He could still watch via his Phone so it was no big deal, just annoying. Then a few days later the same happened to me. Not a big deal but really annoying. As i started to look for a fix, there was just nothing to be found. And what i did find just didnt work. So i started experimenting on my own. As we both use chrome, i tried other browsers, Edge, IE8 & Firefox, neither worked. I then tried other video streaming sites to see if it might be a problem with YouTube. Dailymotion works perfectly. So does twitch, without a flaw. Being frustrated not being able to fix this i tried to reinstall chrome. Quite stupid since it probably isnt browser-related but still i did. Then the reall problem started showing up. As i tried to reinstall chrome i couldnt seem to download the file though its only 1.1mb. I could download other files but not all of them, i could download Firefox without a problem for instance. Then i tried resetting my network settings, didnt work. Restart router, didnt work. Reset router, didnt work. Reset entire pc, didnt work. And at this point im sitting here writing this thread on a completely reset pc with around 1TB of storage lost to that reset, mainly games, and its still not working, and YouTube isnt either. So conclusion. My pc doesnt download specific files, it doesnt download chrome, but then it does download Firefox, but then doesnt download media creation tool for windows 10. I really dont know what this is and why its happening but its annoying the shit out of me pls help plsss
EDIT: i just plugged in wireless USB to use wifi since my motherboard doesnt support that on its own, and i can download everything. nor is YouTube acting weird and not buffering anymore, so i think we just need a new router or a new cable lol
