Hay Guys,

i want to overlock my AMD FX 8320.
Does the AMD FX 8320 needs less Voltage than usually when i want to overlock it with the Option "One Core Per Unit"? I'm looking for a better SingleCore-Perfomance in CS:GO and GW2.

Which Motherboard would be the best Choice to overlock an AMD FX 8320?

Best Regards,
JK

Best motherboard for overclocking a FX 8 core without paying too much is this one :

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $74.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

It pack a 8+2 power phase for a better overclock than some 99X or even 99FX board which are all more expensive.

As for overclocking disable modules will not help a lot, if you can disable one of the two cores a module has then it would be a little better.

dont go over 70C and 1.55V
I don't quite understand what you mean in the overclocking bit.

But as for the motherboard - for overclocking a 8320, I always would recommend a 990X or 990FX board. In particular the ASUS M5a99FX Pro or sabertooth 990FX. IF you really want to go extreme Crosshair V formula is also an option.

For a cheaper option, go for the ASUS M5a99X.

Admirable
If you work with four cores instead of eight, you should achieve better speeds and temps, it should consume less power also, this is what xtreme overclockers do, they usually work with only one core to achieve better speeds. As for the motherboard, a cheap one would be this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157281&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Extreme series are excellent performers at that price.
