Overclock failed help

Hey today I tried to overclock my royalqueen r9 280x I started off boosting slowly than I accidently push it too high and clicked apply but I forgot to take off the check mark for start up when windows starts. Now I can't get passed my windows 8 loading screen. I have tried safe mode but Its not working , I do not want to format it. BTW I had ccc but I overlooked it with msi afterburner. Can someone please help me !
My rig :amd fx 8350 (stock not oc)
8gb ram
850watt gold psu
R9 280x gpu

Try to start you computer using a windows repair disk if you have one, worked for me in a similar situation

I don't not have a repair disk however after trying and trying I decided to take off the comm from the motherboard and wait awhile and it worked like new ! Thanks for the help buddy; D
