Hiiiiiiiiii everbody
I want to overclock Amd phenom ii x6 1055t
can any one tell me How to oveclock this cpu to 4ghz
My mobo: Asus M4A78LT-M
Ram 2x2gb ddr3 kingston

I overclockerd upto 3.6
but after 3.6 bsod happens

so tell me perfect answer

Now cpu fsb 264x14
Ram speed at cpu id 702mhz
Kingston 2x2gb Ram 1333

i m using coolermaster 500w psu
i m using stock cooler

here r settings
cpu frequency 264x14=3694mhz
cpu/nb frequency 8.00x
cpu voltage 1.4500
vddnb voltage 1.25625
ht link speed 1600mhz

so when i try to increase five mhz of cpu freq. then bsod com or screen hangs
please help me

Since you CPU is a locked CPU you will need set your RAM to 800MHz or 1066MHz before start to rise the reference clock. Change your RAM voltage to 1.65V and keep the HT and NB the most closest possible to 2000MHz

And YOU NEED a better cooler, the stock cooler isn't good.

After set ram to 800
my pc did not display

Overclocking is not exact and nobody is going to be able to tell you the exact numbers you need to set, it is something you have to test over and over and over. Dont assume we are going to give you a "good" answer, you need to read some overclocking guides, do some research and take the advice of the people replying to your post, not discard the comments because they are not exactly what you are looking for.

Oke then the next step is to see the Voltage settings when its on 3600 mc,do that with some software like hwinfo32 or some like it.
That is to make sure your MB(125W i saw) and PS can handle the power.
If that all is Oke,then you have to live with 3600,btw that cpu can even handle a little more voltage if i remember correctly 1.55V is the absolute max,so 1.5v could give you an extra 200-300 mc,doublt it if that extra mc's is worth friying your cpu.

hello, I always follow some post which you havemade,
I think we can not give precise because there are or issue and maybe some people don't see clearly detail spec system you had and issue BSOD. I just thinking like 0x0..124 / 0x0..50B, I've asked you if you want more will have to upgrade good psu high efficiency and extreme ram (had heatsprider).
many things you need to consider such as :
- PSU cooler master extreme power 500W not good for overclock, actually have issue too in default.
- I'm not sure your ram kingstone HyperX, it can make scare me ( NO heatsprider don't do it )
For example : at 3.6ghz clock speed fsb 255 and ratio ram at 1066, nah .. ram must be raised voltage near 1.6V- 1.62V and loosened timings, for example 8-9-8-30 or 8-9-9-30.
overclock FSB really need STRONG RAM and GOOD PSU. That's key of succes overclock 1055T.
My opinion keep at 3.5ghz ( the last stable your oc) if you still love your hardware. In the everyday, everytime I use it at 3.5ghz and sometime to 3.8ghz .. 4ghz just for benchmark :)
