Overclocking a E6750

Just set it to one to one ratio, and put your bus at 400 so your ram can run 1 to 1, and then use a multiplier of 8. Thats what i did and its running like a champ. =D (tuniq tower + abit IP35 pro)

All depends how good your ventilation and Ram is. This is what I've done to my 6750 and it's very stable. CPU is only 29 degree C.

Core temp that high???? no I haven't tried... it'll be dead... I'm satisfied now and it's stable. And in my area which is Hong Kong... Room temperature goes up to 30 degree C during the hotest days in the year. I'm very satisfied at the moment. Usual room temperature is still over 25 degree C.

i'm running @ 3.7Ghz.... You got it all wrong... LOL
Anyway, I brought my CPU back down to 3.46Ghz for more stability. 'Cos when I run @ 3.7 and full load for 4 hrs using Stress Prime, I go up to 52 degree C. I really don't like it!!! LOL!

coretemp 0.95.4 should give the correct temps for the G0 steppings, one reason speedfan is wrong is that when i measured my idle temp for the e6750 it was below ambient temps which is not possible on air ... in general ppl with G0 steppings go by coretemp 0.95.4 with tjunction 100C ... the max safety temp for these are 72C so anything under that you are fine.

72 C doesn't sound like any safety to me... LOL... the jpg above is coretemp... though room temperature now is 27 degree as I didn't put on the air con in the room. I'm in HK, very hot around here!

4G.... I think you should bring it back down until winter comes in. Though I'm sure your room temperature is lower then me. I didn't even try going to 4G as I think it's not much difference with 3.7G. At least not difference you can really feel.

hi all how i can over clock the e6750 cpu on intel motherboard g33 bu

I only tried mine up to 3.7ghz with 1.4V in the Bios. I am @ 3.6ghz @ 1.3875V not much gained by going higher although I probly will. When the cpu dies it just means I get to replace it with something faster :) I also got 14.188s on Super PI, mod 1.5 SX running 1M. You're clocked a few mhz higher and get a worse score. My RAM timing are also pretty loose.

i have 2*2gb ram 800 mhz bus
can i run it 1 to 1 with e6750 without overclocking
anothere question
my pc make a slow boot when i put more than 4 gb ram
i put 6 gb ram dual chanel and with the same bus speed 800 mhz
and my pc make a slow boot

ihave windows vista ultimate 64 bit edition
my morther board is intel g33 bu (support up to 8 gb main memory)
