overclocking amd sempron le 1300

hi i have a dell inspron 531 with a AMD sempron le 1300 prossesor. the computer runs a lil slow while playing games and running high end programs, i was just woundering if it is possible to oc the cpu?

That processor doesn't have an unlocked multiplier and your OEM motherboard most likely won't let you adjust the cpu frequency. Either way, you wouldn't see much gain from overclocking a processor that old. Right now, high end tablets have about the same power, and you might want to think about upgrading.

i dont have much money to buy anything and was looking for the cheapest way to get more out of less

Hmm I see. Unfortunately I don't see how you could do more with what you have. The only thing you can do is save up and look for deals.
