Would it be possible to overclock an Acer Aspire X1920?

I recently bought a Cooler Master Elite 430 Mid tower to replace the case for my Acer Aspire, which was small form factor. I also plan to buy a Corsair 600W PSU. My question is, with this setup, would it be possible to overclock my CPU (Pentium Dual-Core E6700 3.2 GHz)?

I also plan on buying a new 1GB GPU when I get the cash, but for now would overclocking work to improve my performance in games?

Thanks :)

Solution

Unfortunately not without a little trickery (which involves quite a bit of risk). Acer, like most system manufacturers, locks their BIOS settings to prevent accidental corruption by inexperienced users.

The GPU will help for most games
Hope it helps some
