Hey I was wondering if I overclocked what would let me down first the mobo or the psu because my system never draws more than 350w So shouldn't it handle the Oc. I know my mobo is crap so it will probably be first. Btw thanks for all your help

isnt the 500w 80+ psu enogh my system on pcpartspicker is not rated to draw more than 384w

and would the mobo break if i turn up the voltage a bit like from 1.248v to like 1.2625v or 1.275 for a 4.2 ghz oc because my mobo adds voltage by .0125

The EVGA 500w is officially powerful enough(BARELY) for your system, it's quality is the biggest problem. It is mediocre at best because it uses low quality components. I would not personally stress it so much. It will not last very long under those conditions. Honestly it's just not very good.

Like I've said before, the motherboard will protect itself by throttling no matter what you have the voltage set to.

1. if i overclock will it draw more power
2. if the psu goes down if the mobo and cpu go down with it

Thanks a lot ctrubo you have helped a lot. Right now I am going to keep it at 3.9ghz
