Hello,
I have bought an i7-3770k and have an intel board which uses the intel tuning utility software. My friend actually built the system and put it with these settings below. I thnk it's got a max turbo boost of just below 4ghz. I want it at 4.5ghz properly though. Ideally I would like 4.5ghz if not higher. I have tried setting the reference clock speed higher but it crashes. I'm a newbie to this so if anyone can tell me what I need to do to achieve this as well as what temperatures to avoid I would be very grateful... and so much happier. As I run 4 monitors aswell with games.
