Is 4300 MHz good for an I5-6600k?
and is GPU clock +200MHz and +500MHz on the memory clock good? also have gpu voltage +50% and power limit +11% on a gigabyte 1060

Solution
can probably go higher then 4.5ghz---4.7ghz area as long as temps are ok and not using too much voltage

my 6600k is at 4.7ghz and will probably go more as got full watercooling but too much time is needed to overclock and test it out once you get near the limits

of what it can go to so i just shoved it straight to 4.7ghz and left it there--one day will get round to seeing how high it can go
my memory clock is currently at 8910 MHz and still no artifacts on vally wow ( +900 MHz) and my gpu clock is at 1936 ( +210MHZ if I go beyond the 210 it stutters or I get freezes or black screen ) GPU voltage is at +20% I still don't quite understand this

nice--the memory usually does overclock a lot more than the core even if the core voltage was at 100% its probably like 0.1v extra wont get you much further if at all since around the gtx970 maybe earlier they got pretty tight with how much you could over volt

i am using a modified bios on my gtx970 to get the extra though dont recommend that for every one to try my gpu is watercooled so not worried over it

btw do I need to keep the software running or can I simply close it? and if I ever have a problem ( gpu or cpu dies ) I can get them replaced right? since I think I'm within the OC range

yes thats still open/running

and dont worry if they seem basic questions every one knows different things so whats easy/basic to some people isnt to others

no shame if you dont know something but ask--its only silly when you dont know but wont ask

some people might get impatient with easy/basic questios but i dont we were all noobs once and i dont forget that
