Overclocking my Core 2 Quad Q9650 (4Ghz +)

Working on getting my Q9650 rig dialed in. Started with an ebay found Q9650 for $22... Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme cooler from a member of the TPU forums. Motherboard is an Asus P53Q from a member at (overclockers.com). So this is a true community build. The rig started life as QX6850 but I was getting fed up with that CPU as it is difficult to maintain stability over 4.0Ghz. So we swapped it out for the Q9650 and I'm able to get 4.0Ghz right out of the gate. Settled for 4.3Ghz and I'm happy with the results for 24/7 use.

I like those old LGA775s. I'm getting ready to throw together a couple of locked BIOS Dell BTX with QX9650s. I'm seeing some 4.5GHz AIDA64 there also.
