I just installed my Corsair H100i Pro and I would like to overclock my cpu to 4.5 ghz. I watched a guide and did exactly like him, but I knew it wouldn't be stable so I tried to boot and used prime95 and it crashed.
The thing is, I am not sure which voltages to touch, I get that I need to increase voltage so it's stable but since there's 4 different voltages, sa voltage io voltage, ring voltage and vcore voltage I'm not sure which one to change.

Is it enough to adjust cpu ratio to 45 and just change the vcore voltage? Or do I need to adjust more things?

Please help a noob out

My spec:
GTX 780 Ti
i74770k 3.5ghz, Corsair H100i pro
Hyperx 16gb 1866mhz.
Kingston SSD.
850W NZXT Hale90 PSU.
MSI Z87 45 Gaming motherboard.

Nothing will help him. I spent an hour helping him the other day which was a waste of time because his CPU is degraded and he has got insufficient cooling.

In addition, the guide you posted is for ASUS mobos and he has an MSI one. You just can't help some ppl.

Well using Prime95 29.xx on a Haswell cpu isn't exactly recommended. I downloaded Prime version 26.6 and it passed 4.4 ghz at 1.250 volts
