Question overclocking on maximus xi formula AIR COOLED VRMs vs maximus xi hero

i'll be overclocking a 9900K either on a maximus xi formula with air cooled vrms or maximus xi hero. Which will yield higher performance?

The lower the temps for your VRM's the longer the stability and overall better experience with your overclocks. Please keep in mind that the temps are not just your only limiting factor, pumping higher voltages through your CPU and the board can and will degrade it over time.

The Hero is a step below the Formula in terms of board's build quality, so my vote is to the Formula.

but keep in mind i won't be watercooling the vrms on formula, heard ppl say that's not the best thing to do
