Hello, I have a Ryzen 5 5700x, an Asrock X570M Pro 4 motherboard, and 2x8gb of G.Skill Trident Neo 3600mhz ram. I've been trying to overclock my ram, but I cant seem to push past 3000mhz. I have set the ram voltage to 1.35, and it was able to OC from 2133 to 3000. Trying to load XMP profile is no good as it resets to 2133 and wont save the OC. Any other things I can try to push my ram to be faster?

If you can overclock to 3,000MT/s, you might be able to push the memory faster if you relax the CL (CAS) timings manually, after invoking XMP.

As an example, if your RAM's timing is CL16 at 3,600MT/s, try setting CL17 for all DIMMs. If that fails, try CL18, etc.

When you think you've reached the limit, boot MemTest86+ from USB and run at least one complete cycle of tests. Any errors in MemTest and your overclock is not stable and needs more adjustment.

Hey there,

This is very possibly something to do with your bios. What version are you running? It should be ver 3.90.

Updating your bios for AMD will bring more mem compatibility. Try the bios update, and don't forget to clear CMOS after it.
