overclocking problem with gigabyte R9 280

hi there i have the gigabyte R9 280 windforce 3x oc and i download the msi program for oc but when i try to oc my gpu the fps drops a little than get higher can any1 help me plz im confused

Maybe the temp is high, or your PSU does have enough juice for ocing.

and the temp im telling u is when i play games and surf the net in the same time.

According to the PSU tier list, tier 3 : Some Haswell compatible, some not (maybe unconfirmed). Still safe to use and stable, just lower quality components. Not really ideal in serious overclocking or super-high load situations, such as a Bitcoin mining rig or a high end gaming system.

May go into the BIOS to check out the the 3.3v, 5v, 12V voltage. Or use HWiNFO64 http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php
