I have A thunderbird 900 and i Can't overclock more than to 927 pease help me

I have a A7V motherboard 256meg pc133
V5 5500
A big heatsink in aluminium

Are u trying to change the multiplier or just increasing the FSB?

Try this because I have a 900 Tbird @ 1 gig.

1 Connect L1bridges
2 Max Voltage
3 Set FSB 100 Multiplier x 9.5 (make sure to download the jumper setting from asus.com)
4 If success then keep upping the Multiplier till u hit the limit (x 10 was all mine will take 🙁 )
5 Once u find the limit start uping the FSB (105 will probably be max)
6 U can try different combos like 100FSB x 10 or 105 X 9.5 both = 1 gig
I kept my FSB at 100 for maximum stability but every system is a little different.
And remember your 900 might be a dud or hit over 1 gig.
I all most forgot, Use 1005c Bios and use AFLASH.EXE not AsusUpdate .

Good luck

Thanks a lot for your advice but I have to ask you a last question .When you say max voltage do you talk about the voltage in the bios or using thr bridges on the cpu.

Thanks in advance.

Neither, The A7V works best in jumper mode. Look in the manual and set it to jumper mode (JEN). Then change the voltage to 1.85 (VID 1-4).
Good luck.
