I recently built a system with a Q8200s (65w), Cooler Master v8, Gigabyte EP45-UD39, OCZ Reaper X HPC 800, and a Corsair 620watt power supply. As of now, I have the cpu overclocked to 3325mhz (7x475) @ 1.25v and has been stable on Prime95 for about an hour. The RAM seems to be the biggest obstacle to stability. It is currently running at 950mhz. It becomes unstable around 1000mhz. LOAD CPU temps are around 38c-40c as posted by the hardware monitor. I believe I have achieved a decent overclock but I was wondering if I should push it more? Or if anyone out there is curious about the chip and what it can do in a setup such as mine.

Yeah I wish I could lower the ram speed. I think I may be able to eek out a few more mhz. Would increasing the RAM voltage help? It is currently at 1.86v.

Oh wow, Yes that is my RAM. I had no idea it would operate at 2.1v. I'll up the voltage and see what I can do before loosening the timings.

I'm up to 3.4Ghz (7x485) stable on Prime95 for 4 hours! Temps are very good at 42c LOAD. Vcore is 1.265 (1.2 after droop), and vdimm is at 2.26 (2.13 after droop). I have to say this is a very overclockable chip and stays cool to boot! Very happy with the 1.1 Ghz overclock.
